Continuity[]
On the original SpongeBob series, there was no continuity whatsoever. But on this show, every episode is left with a cliffhanger. And some groups of episodes are put together for two to four part conjoint specials. Previous episodes are also mentioned. Episodes from the original series are also mentioned, including "Bubble Buddy Returns", "Jellyfish Hunter ", etc. And when Season 1 comes out on DVD, the episodes won' t fade out at the end, they'll just keep going like a full length movie. And the film will just be stretched into one disc, so the whole film can come together.

| In this movie, Squidward goes back in time and makes sure he never meets SpongeBob. Squidward realizes he made a big mistake when he sees Mr. Krabs was killed by King Neptune and Plankton ruled the universe. So SpongeBob lost his job. Squidward ends up living in a box and eating all of his paintings. SpongeBob walks by and notices Squidward. He introduces himself and says if he met Squidward earlier, then he would have went to get Neptune's crown and saved the city. But since the owner of The Krusty Krab was fried and Plankton ruled the universe, SpongeBob was jobless. So SpongeBob will help Squidward overthrow Plankton and restore the timeline. This is also the season finale. | |||
